Istituto Venezia offers Italian courses in Triest

Our partner school Istituto Venezia also offer Italian intensive courses in Triest. The course consists of 4 lessons in the morning, split between two teachers, every day from Monday until Friday. The maximum group size is limited to 12 participants. The course lasts for 4 weeks (80 hours) and includes the teaching curriculum for the following language levels: Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced. If you enrol for a course, all teaching materials and cultural activities in Triest are included.

Leisure activities in Triest
The daily leisure activities organized by the teachers are free for all the participants, apart from the transport costs and entrance fees. Possible activities, in which students can participate, are for example:

  • Aperitif at Pier Audace
  • Guided city tour
  • Visit to the Castle Miramare
  • Excursion to the Grotta Gigante and Rilkeweg
  • Afternoon by the sea
  • Tasting in Osmizze (typical osterias)
  • Pizza-lunch with the language teachers
  • Boat trip to Duino and Muggia
  • Excursion to the ancient Roman city of Aquileia

Special leisure activities for September and October are:

  • Monday, September 28: Walk through the Napoleonic road
  • Tuesday, September 29: The taste of a city. Trieste, the coffee capital
  • Wednesday, September 30: The Risiera
  • Thursday, October 1: The Italo Svevo Museum
  • Monday, 5 Ocotber: The path of fishermen and Cannovella de Zoppoli
  • Tuesday, October 6: An evening at a typical osteria
  • Wednesday, October 7: The Karst House and the fortress of Monrupino
  • Thursday, October 8: The Barcolana
