We are very pleased to announce you that the Institut Européen de Français has obtained the label guaranteeing «French foreign Language quality».
Every year, more than 100000 people travel to France to learn French. Some 300 language centres (public, private or associative) offer courses of French as a foreign language.
To address such situation, in 2006 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research, and the Ministry of Culture and Communications decided to issue the French as a Foreign Language Quality Label to the French as a Foreign Language (FLE) centres located in France.
By creating the «French as a Foreign Language Quality Label», the State has launched a quality assurance approach aimed at objectively informing learners about the French language learning training market and enhancing the quality of services provided by the French as a Foreign Language centres in France.
This process aims at the official identification, recognition and promotion of the schools whose language offering and services provide guarantees in respect of the expected quality levels.
This initiative is part of an international quality label process for language centres in Europe, similar to what has already been done in the United Kingdom and Spain.
